The one good thing about being a bit down is that my body tends to sleep a bit more. So I got my 9 hours FINALLY. I begin my morning with the usual work and bakery, where I enjoy a blueberry muffin and latte. The female worker was opening today, and I as I noticed they were out of blueberry, I inquired if there were any off the shelf. She noted that there was indeed, but that it'd be a bit frozen. I assure her its okay, as I thought frozen would be preferable since the muffins were already dry as the desert. She seemed a bit worried, reiterating that the muffin is very frozen. But again I tell her its okay and take the muffin anyways...
Okay, she wasn't lying. But it was better this way in terms of crumbliness.
After working, I pack up and round the corner into 경의산 (Gyeongeesan) park in search of the Smoothie King that 명근 (Myeongoon | Arthur) had mentioned to me the day before, that was located in 홍대 (Hongdae) as opposed to 신촌 (Sinchon).
홍대 is so full of corners and alleys that I finally decided to pull out the old Kakao Maps in order to find it. But the closest one.................. was 신촌. Geez 명근 get your poop together. As I turned, I noticed that the famed Tiger Sugar was open.street, some people waiting for over an hour on busy nights. But the line was cut short today, just lining up outside the door. So I took this as a sign from the universe and got in line. The menu is fairly limited, but huge at the same time due to all the combinations. The signature milk tea can come with milk cream or without, with large 보바 (boba) or small 쩐주 (jjeonjoo). The names were also very long and confusing even in English. I panicked, and couldn't decide before I got to the cash register. I ultimately failed, just pointing at the menu like a dope. It was... embarrassing.

I waited for my drink to be called, not even sure if I'd be getting what I had tried to say. But I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome.
Sweet small tapioca pearls nesting the bottom, the inside of the cup drizzled with brown sugar, and sweet black milk tea filled to the top. A simple drink yet photogenic. So the question was, is it worth the wait?

PIZZA
SCHOOL.
Seoulites argue with me if ye must. But this is THE best pizza ever in MY opinion. The crust is perfectly fluffy, absent of both grease and crunch. The tomato sauce is thinly layered, present but not overpowering. The cheese? The ONLY pizza-worthy cheese I've ever indulged in that does not make my stomach gurgle and blurgle for hours after. Its a little sweet, but perfect over the crust and sauce. And their stuffed cheese crust? Don't even get me STARTED. Not to mention the MENU OPTIONS. You got your classics, Pepperoni, cheese, combo, sweet potato...
Wait, girl did you just say sweet potato?

I sent out a vote on Instagram, but ultimately decided on the Irish Potato Pizza, because I really like carbs.
So I wait in Pizza School, getting my box to go. I swing by the conveini, pick up a can of FilGood (my new favorite) beer. And set sights for home. I make a review of my pizza, shower up, microwave my pizza, and hole up in my room while watching Netflix's new, Mother!

Super weird movie. Recommend if you're up for a trip. Like a TRIP trip.
I got 7/8 slices down of my beautiful za. And confused from the weird and implicit movie, I fall asleep with a happy belly.
